The vicious attacks on bloggers using offensive language demeans the government and coupled with failure to rebut questions raised in the blogs, only helps to sustain suspicions that government leaders have something to hide. Seeing the string of threats and personal attacks, one is reminded of Shakespeare’s famous words in the play Hamlet, “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

Malaysiakini today linked up an interesting post on the seditious article in PM’s website.
Eventhough it was removed as reported by CLARE STREET from the original site apparently Google still had it cached.

This morning, a police report was made against Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. The police report was lodged by Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew of the Democratic Action Party at the Damansara Utama Police Station.
This police report is about a seditious posting in the website of the Prime Minister of Malaysia that has remained there since 14 November 2005. The posting was first brought to the public’s attention by James Wong on Thursday, 26 July 2007, in his blog, Clare Street.

People Must Wise Up To Goblok Websites, Says Zam
MELAKA, July 29 (Bernama) — The people must wise up to “goblok” (political bloggers) because some of them were willing to become tools of others to destroy the nation, said Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin.
He said these bloggers belonged to groups with limited knowledge and had evil intentions.
